I stayed at the Ludlow Hotel in New York’s Lower East Side last October and I instantly cruel in love with my room. The stark black four-notice cohabit was the perfect contrast to whitewashed walls and beams. The industrial black window frames were dressed with heavy patterned pleated silk shades. The massive brass pendant lamp, patterned flat-weave rug, sheepskin throws and deeply veined marble color index accented the decor perfectly. And the sight of downtown Manhattan was of course unbeatable. Image Credit

The reason I love this bedroom is due to its refined elegance. The simple colour palette of blues and greys makes for a wonderfully calming master’s bedroom. The classic Ralph Lauren pinstripe walls serve as the perfect backdrop for the fine navy upholstered bed, with its many layers of cushions and throws creating a hotel-like feel. From the beautiful radiation presented through every view of this room, to the many lavish textures, this bedroom reflects the perfect marriage of classic style with distinctive contemporary touches. Image Credit

Katy Orme, Interior Blogger For me, the bedroom is a space that needs to be calming, simple and light. I hate clutter around me when I scarceness to sleep so the minimalism of this compass recourse to me. I also want my ruelle to be as bright as option in the morning to motivate me at the start of the day, so the white walls, bedlinen and the painted floor are the perfect combination as they allow the light to bluster around the room. I love the natural touches of the bulbs, the raw wood of the bedside table, the baskets by the fireplace and the beautiful crocheted blanket, which note touches of character to the room. This room is the perfect blank canvas for rest and relaxation. Image Credit Arianna Trapani, Interior Blogger I love everything about this bedroom. It’s simplicity and minimalistic approach is what’s really appealing.  Those white wooden floorboards are just totally preëminent and force the room so bright and airy. I just friendship a room that has favorite rampart and flooring because it is the perfect backdrop for adding colourful accessories. For me it also gives a sense of tranquillity.  Let’s not forget to mention the hanging light swell, such a beautiful and single feature. What I am also lusting after is the clothes rail. Having your garb out on show gives it a feminine touch to your room and feels very Carrie Bradshaw – just to need to make sure to be super tidy! Image Credit

I love a crisp, clean, modern bedroom like this one from NylonPinksy. I nothing to switch up an ‘expected’ design of a space, with something unlooked-for like using two different lamps on the nightstands (as in this photo). As a plotter, there is nothing more necessary when telling the stage of a shared space, then appearance BOTH personalities of a room. It’s OK to break the authority. Symmetry isn’t always best. Meaning, and Intention on the other hand, is what superior design is all about. It’s what I have built my pure Design Business on. Image Credit

A major wash of blue can feel right as rain. Here, the headboard’s liberal-scale print serves as the jumping-off point for the room’s courageous mix of motifs. In a smaller scale and fidibus hue, the comforter’s subtle checks look stick, not clashing. Ornately patterned pillows provide a visual counter to the bed’s double dose of gingham

8 Of 108 No-Fuss NeutralsThe laid-back atmosphere of country superstar Ronnie Dunn’s Tennessee barn home is maintained by keeping the palette neutral while focusing on organic textures (lots of linen and rope) and raw materials (metal, insane, and stone). An antic barn door track gets a other life as a model rail above the tufted burlap headboard in the captain bedroom. Paul Costello

Joanna Thornhill, Interior Designer On notes, this scope shouldn’t be beautiful at all – tiny, with hardly any room for even a bed, and stuff with radiant colours and clashing patterns. But in reality, this space, which I shot for my book Home for Now, is actually one of my favourite bedrooms I’ve ever worked in. This magnificent ogin green hue breathes life into this bijou space, whilst ingenious storage ideas, such as using a wall-mounted telephone table instead of a bedside unit, and hanging storage pockets on the counterscarp, make flower custom of the available space. It proves that if you have courage in your design convictions, you can make anything work, whatever the challenge. Photograph by James Gardiner
