When I lived in Norway for a few years, I got no really used to using a duvet (dyne) with a cover (dynetrekk). Each person has their own duvet to cuddle up in (no “arching the sheets and blankets” issues!) The covered duvet serves as a top sail and comforter in one. I can’t imagine sleeping any other highway now. Back in the US again, I have converted all my flat sheets into duvet covers now.
